| Briggs: Guitar, Vocals, Groupie Magnet
Originally trained for Piano but eventually quit after a very unfortunate recital experience. She first picked up the guitar at the age of 14 and never quite found the strength to put it down. Although short lived, Briggs took formal guitar lessons from Delfin Visperas (Lead Guitar, Datu’s Tribe) and Aya Yuson (Lead Guitar, Wdouji) She went on to study at UP Los Banos, where she became an active member of the U.P. Jammers’ Club. Briggs is actively involved in doing session work for other bands but considers SunDownMuse as her primary band. An EP for her experimental group, Orpheus is also in the pipeline (EP set to be released this year). Outside of SunDownMuse, She may be found taking the lead Guitar role for a MOD-Northern Soul-60s R&B-influenced band, Technicolor Dreamcoat (Side project with some members of Mobster Manila, Pinwheel and Bing Austria). |
