Brew: Guitars Brew or Ian, as he is called in the band, started his affair with the guitar when his anti-social sister asked him to sit down with her one afternoon and gave him his first guitar lesson – Ian was 13 years old then. Like his sister, he never really did find the strength to give up playing. Ian alternates the rhythm and lead guitar roles with Briggs but is responsible for weaving the melodic hooks in most of SDM’s songs. He is heavily into Jazz, Fusion, and Progressive Rock. |
