| Drums: Ryan "Pound My Skin" Villamayor
Ryan or Balot started out as a pianist at the Ateneo during Grade School. He learned how to play Drums towards the latter part of High School and continued this through College. Balot is also a UP Los Banos graduate and is a member of the U.P. Jammers’ Club. During college, he was known as THE DRUMMER- because of scarcity of drummers at the time, Balot became the drummer for majority of the college bands in U.P. Like the other members of SDM, Balot does session work for other bands too but considers SunDownMuse as his Primary band. He is into a lot of different kinds of music but considers Funk as a major influence. He looks up to the Police, Carter Beauford, Chad Smith and Herb Alexander among others. |
